I drained my oil from engine before i removed my sump.
As i was removing my sump i noticed clean oil dripping from what
seems like the the spacer between the engine and fly wheel.
What does this mean. Crank seal?? or hydraulic oil ( brake oil)
Cheers Jeffer
How do you replace this???
Would that contaminate the clutch? as mine is slipping badly.
What clutch r u running or recommend?
Hi Charlie,
Well, you can acces the cover by either removing the engine or gearbox.
Remove the flywheel, then you can remove the cover. Replace both the gasket and oil seal while your at it. Aswell as the sump gaskets (2x)
The slipping clutch can be a cause of this but is not as likely as the steering rack leaking oil on the inspection hole of the gearbox is more common. That caused my clutch to slip a while back.
At the moment I'm using a spec stage 3 clutch with my alloy flywheel.
Works good.
Good luck

Thanks Jeffer,
It's very clean light in colour oil so it's definately not engine oil as engine oil was dirty.
so can either be hydraulic oil from brake system or power steering rack.
i will check tommorrow as front of car is on axle stands so cant get a true reading
from tanks.
