    Timing Belt Change...

Hi everyone, I need to change the timing belt, anyone got any tips for locking the engine on an '93 ABY a/c without the special tool which audi don't want to sell to me. Any help would be gratefully recieved. or if someone is selling one!!!

    Cheers, jim

you really need the locking tool to do a cambelt change, The 3256 tool will not
work on your engine because of the Aircon, you can make your own looking tool out some 2'' box stock

i've have the 3256 tool but it only works on non aircon cars so its useless to you
Have a good search through the forum for ''crank locking tools'' i'm sure your find something that will help
