    RS2 turbo replacement options

    Hello every1,
not that im looking forward to replacing my turbo, but as a future plan only.
I was looking through some pages with turbos and i came up with this question.

if i wanted to replace my turbo(either because it was time to or because i wanted something new) which would be the best choice of a turbocharger that would have to have these specs:

    1)allow capability of 400-420hp
2)be bolt on stock manifold and wastegate
3)will spool on around 3000-3300 rpm and not 4000rpm

does this turbo cut it?has anyone used it?

Also how much is a stock RS2 turbo(new)?and i think Mihnea had wrote somewhere that the RS2 is capable of 380-400hp at the most.

Im thinking this cause when the time comes to rebuild my engine,i would probably like to be able to work up to 380hp with a turbo and a stock manifold,so i would like to buy parts that would surely withstand a lot more power and torgue, but at the same time would like not to go too far off stock equipment.

Im already thinking of doing this at somepoint in MRC(if they will accept me!hehe)and drive the car from Greece to England, have all parts ready, have my rebuild there and get chipped and back to Greece!!

Since im only getting familiar with figures,i would like to have someone explain to me what each turbo can do and what the limitations are,so that i can decide what i want to do in the end.Besides i do have looooots of time to thing about it!

    cheers and thanks!
