        Leaking fuel injectors maybe ?

Check the air temp sensor and water temp sensors - VAGCOM is best for that as it will display information in degrees celsius based on sensor signals.

The ECU needs to know that the car is cold in order to provide correct fuelling for a cold start. Hah - is it that cold in Mallorca right now ?

Leaking injectors i think is part of the problem as this morning i poped of the fuel pressure regulator had no pressure behind it, also i will try changing sensors and see what happens . The spark plugs are newish 3500 kms

Well we have snow on the hills here now & thats cold after 45 in the summer !!

            Thanks Jade
