  • Lovefab manifold & GT4088R setup 4" downpipe tial 44mm

Here are some pictures of my new setup from http://www.Lovefab.com

    They do amazing work

The setup is their custom heavy walled stainless steel header, 4" stainless downpipe, tial 44mm wastegate, wastegate dump tube(will be extended). The headers go for $1100 US. I highly recommend them

That is actually a vw 16v short runner intake manifold. I am having sheetmetal intake manifolds produced by the same guy for the audi 20v. They should be available in the next few months.

I am also working on a design that is more symetrical as I've moved the radiator up front in my car, so I have a lot of room to play with.

        Regards,
        Justin

To be honest, the downpipe needs a bit of tweeking. Just one cut and weld. It touches the cv jount slightly, but just needs to be moved forward slightly. The type 44 has plenty of clearance around the subframe in this area tho. The downpipe was built on a couple quattro which I assume has much less clearance in this area.

Justin, any idea when it will be showing it's full potential? I'm also leaning towards a GT40R. I saw that Javads car made full boost @ 5000 rpm.

Here is a dynochart of Cody from Lovefabs s2k stock motor at 16psi with his gt4088R, 4" downpipe and all. Just a stock motor 2.0 honda.

The gt4088R will spool fast with 4" exhaust. Imagine what my stroker motor will do with it. Open 4" downpipe, and 2584cc to spool. Should be very responsive

Here are some pictures of the collector for those that want to see the nice weld/fab work...
