I thought boost reduces with hi temps???

The weather has been getting hotter and hotter and i was expecting the boost to go down, the car is stock, and normaly i get up to 1.2 bar boost on a good day. The last 2-3 days i have seen it hit 1.4 bar accelerating in 4th,5th,and 6th, temps have been in the high 30's, low 40's, can anyone help explain WTF is going on.

If it's ABY, then I think I've read somewhere, that on high temperatures boost is increased by ecu (stock) to compensate power loss. Don't know how it is on 3b. Same should go with altitude changes. Stock motronic (if my theory is right), should give +- the same amount of horsepower on wide range of temperatures and altitudes.

Mint, i hope this is the case as i cannot afford repairs at the moment, just coaxing the old girl along, blipping it when some young hoon (Ricer) in a V8 wants some.

Don't worry Graham, that's normal. The car should feel like it has the same power, whatever the temps. Well, that's the idea.
