I spotted this on another car before. I seem to remember someone saying that all 2.2 s4's were like this?

I'd rather move it than chance building the worlds fastest molotov cocktail.

Here are some rough cad drawings I did for the intake manifold. There will be more room around cylinders 1 and 5 as they wouldn't get sufficent airflow if the manifold was built like in the drawing.

Here is Hacke's design that I'm loosely copying. My design ends up being more symetrical than his. I'll report back about how well it works. I have a 75mm holley mustang throttle body as well.

    Regards,
    Justin

Not up and running yet. Just test fitting it before I pull the motor out.

For the motor I'm going to run a Eurovan shortblock with off the shelf 159mm pauter rods. The pistons are custom units by CP. 83mm bore, 29.25mm compression height, and 21mm wrist pin. The cylinder head is being done by RLZ Engineering:

0.5mm oversized supertech valves on intake and exhaust side. Supertech Titanium Retainers, and supertech heavy duty valve springs. Lightweight hydraulic lifters. 7A cams to start out...

I'm going to get a turbo blanket for the hood and hope it holds up. The turbo clears the hood no problem. I just bought some really nice motor mounts from 034efi that will hold the motor in place:

For the fuel system I'm not really set on anything yet. I'm staying on gas for this motor. I thought doing methanol would be cool, but I will be able to make plenty of power with C16.

My rough plan at this point is:
Dual bosch 044 pumps intank with custom hanger.
Y block into -10 Feed line from tank
-10 Fuel rail (already have this)
SX Fuel Pressure Regulator (already have this)
    -6 return line to tank

I'm having a custom intake manifold built right now that is very similar to the unit Hacke has on his current car.

    Gotta get back to work.

    Later,
    Justin

I think you need to cut out your hood to give it enough clearance
That thing will burn the paint of it in no time
