Hello,
well now I'm officially collecting bits for a future upgrade, I'm asking for a bit of advice
Here's my dilemma:
As I have a 3B, it'd require bearings being changed so it might be worth getting rods changed at the same time to be 'on the safe side', and eliminate the need to be so conservative with the torque on a remap. However, from my searching, it looks as if the engine has to be rebalanced when the rods are replaced. Is this the case, and if so what costs roughly are involved? Seems like a logistical nightmare unless your local rebalancing shop is next door to the tuning shop... if it was gonna be too much I'd just take the conservative remap and get the project done this side of 2007. And save a clutch/gearbox 'upgrade' being needed within weeks
Also, any German speakers that can give some advice for ebay.de listings? I see that there's a few RS2 EM's (Abgaskrümmer) going, but I'd be weary that somewhere inthe description it says "this is shagged and useless. for scrap only".
Cheers
Ross
