URGENT help. is 7A spark plug cable the same as 3B

i need a new spark plug cable set, and my local parts pusher does not list for the 3B so i might have to go to main Audi dealer

while browsing ebay.de i found a set for the 7A engine which looks very much like my 3B cables.

Good thing is that my parts store DO carry 7A cables, but would these fit my engine

for sake of good order, im not considering buying the used cables of ebay, only put the link for comparison.

would appriciate help ASAP, as i need the car running thursday, and i need to order the cables tomorrow morning, at either Audi or my part supplier.

they will fit but the 20v turbo lead cover will not fit...

you mean the plastic thing with the two screws that has 20v turbo written on it, that you screw down on top of the cables?

dang, kinda like that cover, so dont want to lose it, guess its not an option then :-(

The cover will fit but you will need longer screws, Newsh has 7a leads, with cover fitted.

oki thanks alot :-) ive now ordered a replacement lead to the 3B, so it should def. fit.
