    Stroker 20v Head Studs???

I have read that the BMW 3.5L head stud kit from ARP works on stroker 20V. I am using a AAF tall deck block 236mm deck height. 95.5mm stroke. 159mm rods.

I wanted to verify with someone that has used these first hand. I just wanted to verify that they work.

Here are the head studs I am planning on buying:

    Justin

Don't know if I was the first to discover the use for this studs, but can confirm that they work They are 12mm instead of 11mm so the holes in the head has to be bored out 1mm.
1.4 TDI studs has also been said to fit, but haven't tried myself.

          Cheers,
          Roger

Note, this kit is not available from ARP, we build this kit using ARP raw hardware in house.
If you can find them cheaper yourself, why dont you do a little work and have a look??

You want 12mm studs the same length as the oem one, nuts and washers. If you order the BMW kit, your going to have 2 extra of everything, how does that work out cheaper?

                    Kieron.

There is no ARP number, the 034 kit comes unmarked as it's put together for 034 directly.

Either buy the BMW studs or order from 034

Ok, lets do it easier! What is the length i want? I dont mind have 2 extras.

the 12mm is not enough! What is the winding dimension?

Please reply if you have an answer! to the questions.....i know the 034 way!

                        thanks

                            Jeeeez.

Do you not have your engine in pieces or something, so you can just measure one.

According to etka, the length of a standard headbolt is 173mm.

                            Hope that helps.
