When Si came over on a business trip to Mons, Belgium, he also brought me most of the 996 brake conversion kit and I also was able to check out his 1995 Ragusa green Coupe.
After detailing his ABY engined coupe, I noticed some differences with my 1993 ABY engined Avant.
His car has ellipsoid headlights, mine doesn't.
His Intake manifold, though the same shape, is cast differently ( you can clearly see the area where "Powered by Porsche" could've been engraved when my IM is just plain grainy alloy all over just like a 3B and the alloy material used seems to be different as well )
Since my car came from Germany, I do have the Avus 16's but I know of an official Belgian imported 1993 Avant that was supplied stock with the 3B 5-spoke alloy rim

Which makes me wonder, does anyone know about other 3B parts fitted to early ABY's ? And in particular, how can I know for SURE that even very early ABY engines were fitted with those hardened rod bearings that are mandatory when going for a turbo upgrade ?
