    nope
I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got quattro?

i should be more specific. They dont' match. Making adapters from the block to the v6 frame rail supports is preity simple. I'm currently making adapters/engine mounts to mount the 5 cylinder unit in the v6 engine bay. www.motorgeek.com

Is a V8 swap easier on a V6 engined coupe than on a IL5 engined?

No, not really. Not at least as far as mounts go. The V6 has got a better cooler setup but that would be the only bonus. Just as Josh implies - there is really only one source for info on these subjects: www.MOTORGEEK.com. Search and ye shall find.
