Never said that. If you have MS-Office you can open the spreadsheet and see where these estimates come from. Basically its lots of nerdy complicated calculations that I have collected from various sources over the years. They are as only as accurate as the input parameters (some of which are hard to guess).

The number crunching works on calculating the amount of air consumed by the engine at any given speed at boost setting. This essentially allows us to select the correct turbo for the application eg A stock K24 cannot flow as much air as an RS2 turbo. Analysing the compressor maps lets us see how efficient the chosen turbo would be for a given full-load profile... This then leads to calculations about the increases in air temperature and estimations about how they are reduced by an intercooler. Then we know how much air mass is entering the engine - allowing us to calculate how much fuel is needed for a given AFR... Enabling injector choices to be made.

Then there are some estimates for power at each engine speed (by a few schemes actually which I take an average estimate from). From power its easy to get torque figures... Then its just a matter of plotting the graph.

What you then have is an estimated output profile for a given set of inputs. I'm fairly confident about the accuracy of this tool based on what I've seen of stock and chipped, stroked S2 & RS2 applications.

I'd like to see your dyno plots with the boost profile at each engine speed. Do you have any idea about intake air temps seen on that run.

Info on the turbo i have

Again, we have to reach our K26/K24 loader revised around still somewhat more pressure ratios and flow rate. In addition we use a Verdichterrad(Eigenguss) exclusively available with Vmax which of the achievement rather a large K27 compressor wheel resemble. In addition the large K24 exhaust side is used also with the new version the K26.5/K24. In series only a small K16 exhaust side is blocked which during the high mechanical handling capacity of the K26 and/or in this case K26.5 Rades overtaxed is. The compressor wheel uebertrift with ease the RS2 as well as the K2036 K26 compressor wheel! The loader is not to be differentiated from the outside from a series loader to. Thus there are neither problems with the installation, since all form hoses fit still accurately, nor with the TUEV. Thus achievements are around 400ps with a looking inconspicuous loader and elbow union obtain. The usable achievement volume of our new loader strikes all dagewesene around worlds. The load pressure fits already under 3000upm! And tears into the limiter not off. Thus sharpen torques leave themselves to co-ordinate when desired. Or however only a gentle process with enormous achievement without drop as admits from the series loader or other Tuningladern. Largest loader available for the C20LET for the direct assembly on the market! Changes: enormous Verdichterrad(Sonderentwicklung exclusively with Vmax self-casting) large than RS2 K26 and Porsche K2038 K26 (series is K24) circulating air valve integrates increased K24 turbine (series is K16) when desired additionally with High flow interpretation very high throughput thereby enormously reduced exhaust counter-pressure new storage new changed turbine with screening plate new bearing house completely from the outside cleaned loaders naturally completely fine-heaved Serienrkuemmer reworked seat ring Upgrade including strengthened adjustable Wastegatedose

Nah can't make the numbers work at 6500rpm - even assuming zero degree ambient. I get 300bhp at 6500 unless I use much higher efficiency of compressor and intercooler.

Cant remember the flow of the turbo but can find out.

Evo 6 intercooler with 60mm pipe work
    Seperated wastegate pipe
    Software Evo 360
    525ccm injectors @ 3 bar. I run at 3.3bar
    Head work
    Cams
    K26/24RS turbo

    343bhp @6500 rpm.

    Software is for 360PS 470Nm.

It was also in december at 0020 hours which the car ran. So very cold

Yep I agree, no K26 turbo except the RS2 has this comp wheel, however it is still classed as a K26 comp wheel. Also, there were two versions of this comp wheel, the first was fitted to all RS2 turbos manufactured during 1995, this was then replaced by another part number from 1996 onwards

Well I ran the numbers and strike me down - you can get ~340bhp in theory at 1bar on the GM lump. Only caveat is that it needs to run 1bar boost at 8000rpm. At 20celsius with 1020mbar ambient that reflects a corrected mass air flow of ~37lbs air per minute - which is in RS2 capability from memory.

These estimates assume ~72% compressor and intercooler efficiency to keep intake air temps below 44celsius. Other detailed assumptions are VE=90%, CR=9.1 and AFR=12.

    Here's the spreadsheet...

Thats an impressive sounding figure for the trusty GM 2litre 16V lump - a great engine by the way. It sounds a bit on the high side for 1bar. Exactly what KKK compressor are you using on that - do you have a compressor map for it ?

I'd sure like to do the maths on that (I'm a spreadsheet junkie) to see how it stacks up. I always like to see how close the estimations are with real world results. I can produce simulated torque and power curves for a given boost profile which would make a fun comparison with your plots. Just let me know the following -

    Bore
    Stroke
    VE (I'll assume 90% max)
    Compression ratio (static)
Boost at 2000, 3000, 4000 rpm up to your redline
Pressure loss across your air filter and intercooler (if you know it)
And what about the intercooler efficiency - is that estimated or measured

Have you measured intake air temperatures ?

It was a mixture of info collected from SJM and other Audi & turbo sites that turned up good looking hits on searches. I'm pretty sure the cold side number and compressor wheel are correct as they appeared on a few sites and have been reported here before on RS2 turbo posts.

Dastek rollers about 2 years old.

There has been many cars on the rollers which have been on others in the UK and have figures very close a few BHP lb/ft +/-. Different types of car 4x4,RWD and FWD.

The turbo i have is used to achieve 400PS max and there are a few cars which run this power in Germany.

    I have to change software to achieve 400PS 500Nm running @ 1.7bar.

    Have a look at www.vmax.de
Also some Audi applications there. I am sur ethe owner has a 500+bhp S2 and the development car is a BMW E30 with the Vauxhall 2 litre 16v engine producing 750PS
