changed the dump valve for a bailey one (i think) and changed the maf for his one-BINGO!Comment

Sounds familiar, I had MAF probelms recently too. I am using Doug's at the moment ( Doug). I was also going to re-lap the aluminium piston on my dump valve because it isn't holding boost all of the time. Mine doesn't sound like a split hose as the proplem is too intermittent. So, new fuel filter and motorsport fuel pump should really sort out mine. Some of these 'boost' issues are less obvious than they at first seem!
Oh yeah, I have to say that your car looked absolutely stunning at PTS. Not a fan of green cars (I know, I have the greenest S2 available from the factory but I like to be a bit different and original) but yours looked sweet.
Glad it's sorted. How long 'till you want more power I wonder??
