    air/fuel ratio meter

    hello all,

just looking for a little confirmation here, i have just puchased a faze air/fuel ratio meter and i wanted to check that the black wire is the signal wire on the lambda probe (3B S2).

is the best way to connect the gauge, to use the 'scotch' clip connector thingy supplied in the box? or can it be soldered in-line?

any guidance will be much appreciated

ps. have to wait another week to get the car back as the pressure plate for the performance clutch was wrong new one on order from the states

Black is signal and the 2 whites are heating. Soldering beats scotch-clip any day

          thanks for the useful advise

i too hate those scotchlok things, but just wanted to check.
MartynF- did you solder just above the probe in the manifold? or inside the car?

          please excuse my ignorance, lol
