    Fault code help

Just been out to pull the fault code from my Avant and came up with one I've not seen before:

    00515 - Camshaft Position Sensor (G40)
20-10 - Malfunction in Basic Setting - Intermittent

The only details I can find in my tech info say it's ECU fault.

    Any ideas?

    Ben

It is what it says, the hall sender on the camshaft, both codes are related.

The ErWin Manual says check the Hall Sender G40, wiring to the ECU and the valve timing.

******, it only had one 10,000 miles ago.

Got to change the G28 as well as that's the source of my cutting out problem.
