Hi partners, i have an Audi Coupe S2 3B engine and i want to remove it to an ABY engine, i need to change gearbox or i could put de aby engine and 3B gear box.

You can use the 3B gearbox. If using the ABY flywheel&clutch you have to use the spacerplate or you can use 3B flywheel&clutch and skip the plate.

Could someone explain to me what i need to change ECU, i need all electrical system?

And one else, the Cardan is the same in S2 ABY and RS2 or it's shorter in Coupe than in RS2? If it's the same i can buy complete transmission, i suposse that the only difference between s2 3b cardan and s2 ABY or RS2 is the longer, could i put the S2 ABY or RS2 Cardan without problems in rear diff of a 3B?

S2 Avant/Sedan propshaft is same as RS2. As for Coupe, there are two different propshafts, 3B and ABy. The ABY propshaft is about 30mm shorter than the 3B. In your case, you can not use a Sedan/Avant propshaft - you need the Coupe version. If you change from your 5-speed gearbox to a 6-speed, then you need the ABY propshaft. All ABY were 6-speed, regardless of coupe/sedan/avant. All 3B were 5-speed.

I think you also have to change the gear shift system. But why change to ABY with all this work

A good question magary, because i want to obtein arround 380-390hp and i think that 5-speed gearbox cann't resist. I don't use my S2 every day, only weekends and not all weekends, only when i want to enjoy, if i do a long travel on holidays or if i go to a meeting. And i think to put 6-speed gear box because i'm not bout spacerplate is it. Well if i only have to put the RS2 engine using muy flywheel&clutch i will do with my gearbox at the moment.

Other possibility i'm thinking about is to buy the RS2 engine, with ECU but only put the parts i need to obtain arround 380hp and other parts i could sell or keep.
