what is an RS4 engine worth?

Thinking of a conversion into a UR quattro and was wondering how much an engine like this was worth. Realise that it is the wrong site to ask but there are people on here that really know their stuff.

Also, how difficult is it to build an S4 engine to RS4 spec?

    I know, I know...what am I thinking of...?

Do you mean with regards to the engine conversion? If so then basically i have stripped all of the running gear off of a 20v quattro and have all of the subframes, gearbox, engine, turbos, intercooler (front mounted) etc etc to go on. Am having some custom exhaust manifolds and a custom system made up by Miltek through QST and am scratching my head with regards to what to do with engine mounts.

              What are you up to?

You have a bolt on solution that allows you to fit and an rs4 engine into a type 89 chassis then Corey?

Sorry, I answered with a quote from the wrong post!

I'd have a little look over at motorgeek.com. At least one guy there mounted a 2.7TT into a CQ (T89/B4 are the same!). There is also talk about a RS6 conversion but that's only gotten as far as buying an engine.

I pretty sure the front chassis members on the V6 B4's are different to the rest of the range to allow a different engine mount to be used.

I can't see anyone doing much with 10k USD honestly... unless you can fabricate your own parts so you don't have to pay someone else to do it...
