Hi i was just wondering what the forums views are on having a remapp carried out on the s2 with 170000miles on the clock. The car had a full rebuild engine/gearbox @103000miles and has fsh up to 150000.When the rebuild was carred out a nothelle conversion also was added producing 300bhp.I wanted to get the car remapped,+ fit bigger intercooler/injectors but is the mileage a tad to high, a could i be asking for trouble!!If anyone has any views on it being a good/bad idea please let me know
many thanks
dean
nothelle n300,alcon brakes, sachs suspension kit, lots still to be done!
right will get that done but if the engine/gearbox were rebuilt roughly 700000miles ago the car should be safe to have remapped and to increase power??

Should not have any probs, engine and gearbox can run380ish bhp safely.
ah sorry one to many noughts (70000miles)!The engine sounds good and the car had been serviced every 3-5000miles,with no expense spared! The only let down is the second owner(my uncle)Thats when the service ends and i expect it had a hard life! But he owned it for 12 years and only did 20000miles in it(those be hard driven miles though!)
