High boost

Hi all
Just had a good run up the motorway in 6th put my foot down 2.2 bar should be 1.8 bar what would cause this ???

could just be right air temp and enough oxygen for the engine.

is that absolute or relative pressure?

Probably because engine is at higher load and builds boost more quickly before the WG responds and opens. Also may be the overboost kicking in

21 c to 25 c today
Thats what it says on boost gauge 2.2 in overboost

is your car an s2 of S4? if it is an S4 with the boost display on the dash. If this is the case. The dash display is absolute and not relative so it would be getting the overboost of 1.1 bar.

´¨Its a chipped rs2 with chip from ts tuning & rev tech boost gauge 1.4 with rs2 chipset 1.8 with ts
