Hello
this week to disassemble the auxiliary water pump and was bound tightly.
Is important this pump?
Somebody knows that fuse it controls it?
I put a Bypass to him to be able to work.
A greeting and thanks .
i would also like to ask of the afterrun pump.
when is this pump supposed to start working? How long after you have removed the key from the ignition?
What temperature should the car had to be running in order for the aux pump to trigger the temp into working?
sometimes after a long trip, where my engine temp never reaches 90deg and i shut off the engine, the aux pump never comes in.is this normal?
thanks

Vasilis,
Mine used to do the same. Then the pump started to leak small amounts of coolant as the internal seals had gone. So I replaced the pump and now it does occasionally come on after a long hot run. So I guess the pump must have been seized before. This might be worth checking on yours.

i guess so,cause the last time the car was at the garage i told them to replace the certain fuse that usually burns and prohibits the pump to work,so since i havent seen it work now again,i guess it needs replacement.Anyone knows the cost?
