You can do away with the current coilpacks with these if you wanted to and at that price it would be worth doing cos thats cheap to include new coilpacks! i paid just over that in pounds for new coilpacks!Ant

It would have to fit in the coil pack cover though else not interested.
Why not just do the conversion yourself and save some £££s.
It really isn't that difficult and it's well documented on the forum.
Also I'm working on getting the coilpack cover modified to aid the cooling of the 1.8T units.'93 S4 Avant now back on the road complete with new shiny go faster bits.Comment

I am the guy who wrote the 1.8t coil pack conversion DIY instructions that several members of this forum have used. The conversion cost me about US$ 250 (I am in Canada but for comparison's sake, I am using US$) just for the parts. At US$355 and the apparent quality of 034efi's wiring harness, I think its a good deal (even if they did "steal" the idea from me. (I shared it on the internet))
Now, as for the 20vturbo coil pack cover, I highly recommend NOT running it. It will trap too much heat and kill those little coil packs very quickly. A fellow on the Audifans UrS4 list (where I normally hang out) ignored my advice and the result was two dead coil packs in very short order.
