    Flat spot

Hello havent been on here for a bit.. Been busy etr etr.

Anyway I need a bit of help my S2 ABY has a sort of flat spot between 1.5 to 2.5 rpm its like it missing a cylider but not or not getting air in to the engine.. As soon as its passed 2-2.5 rpm it's fine.. The car has 114k on the clock and has had cam belt done plus sparks oil etr etr.

Been like it for a mouth or so, now I was thinking it could be coil pack or MAF. If anyone has any ideas of what it maybe please fire away.

I guess if it coil pack we talking a bit of money for those plus a MAF.

I've fixed that on my 3b with replacing spark plugs and during pressure test of the hoses. However after few weeks I've replaced MAF, because it just died (electronics). Maybe it was the symphtoms of dying - don't really know. So on 3b it was fix route was like this:

spark plugs->turbo hoses check, some new clips, cleaning, replacing dv valve->MAF.

So first part is done by you. I'm not sure, but hoses check is good always. Also you can try to clean your MAF with IPA (not sure if it's needed).

      Thanks for the info Sau

I think I have a good look at hoses at the weekend and clean the MAF and see if that's works.

Anyone else I can try and look out for.
