    Running without MAF connected

My understanding is that the S2 and therefore RS2? will run with the MAF disconnected.
Prior to replacing mine I tried this and the car kept stalling.

Does this point to another problem ??

I switched the MAF and PCV due to lack of power(?) and Xs fuel consumption. Difficult to be sure if better as I only did this yesterday.

BTW no fault codes, boost leaks, sparks recent, new thermostat etc etc

At present the car is back on standard chips so unrelated to MRC remap.

    Any thoughts ??
