    034 AAN coil conversion

    Well the box arrived today.

Considering the book says that the stock coils are a service item and should be changed every 120k miles, I don't think I did too bad with them lasting 221k miles.

I have fitted the cover to mine so that I can judge the longevity of the system over here. For the price of the coils if I have a failiure then it is all in the name of science.

After having to suffer for a week with an awful miss on one cylinder the car is now transformed back to how she was.
I seem to have gained my full boost also which I have put down to the coil's failing.

                £190+vat and delivery

That represents a 10% discount of the advertised price

                fitting would be extra.

Lets hope you don't have a coil faliure like on TT etc, looks a nice conversion though.

Why would they? they were the old style coil, these are the new and improved. When was the last time you heard of a coil failiure from a new Audi?

Yeah but that was ages ago, it's a bit like saying TT's are still having handling issues!!!
