lack of fuel or something else ?

took the shorty for mot today.
it drove ok but when i come out of the mot station it seem to not respond to the accelerator the idle stable valve kept the reves up and stopped it from cutting out . it drove ok for a while and then it was same again when i tried to accelerate it would hold like if it was lacking fuel . this happened a few times each time it got better itself any ideas ?

I had the same symptoms with a dodgy maf, try cleaning it, or see of it accelerates better if you un-plug it.
