Have you tried to fit new ignition switch? You can buy the switch only, without lock and key.

The car works well while fuse 21 is not used.
When inserted the fuse in its site is when it begins to make the car rare
( Gremblins . )

As Newsh said, I had the same problem. A new switch sorted it out

I have the same problem on my RS2.

When i bought it fuse 21 was missing, so i put on in and the dash lit up.
I turned it over, engine started fine. Try to turn it off but it stays on. :s

Key back to ignition, fuse out, key to off and engine turns off.

Very weird. I do have a after market alarm fitted though so that could be the course. Might try a new ignition switch anyway.

Yesssssssssssssssssssssss.
IF To finally I have solved jejejejejjejeje it.
As our friend mdm said it was the connector burned on the inside, I have had to fix 2 cables until Monday buys a new connector.
