I did indeed buy from Beetie BUT anyone could have. Right place, right time as I said :mischeif:
Injectors are around £75+VAT at cost from main stealers. Direct from Bosch they are much cheaper.
If your prepared to wait for the bits to come up for sale and you spend time investigating where to get bits cheapest you can get most stuff done much cheaper than it may first appear.

the best intentions are fraught with disappointment - gil grissom
My used RS2 Turbo and Manifold were £650 for the pair so it can be done. It's just a matter of being in the right place at the right time.
I got injectors direct from bosch for £36+VAT each. Only dear bit is the IC but as MartinJS says you can get the big ones off ebay for not much money.

£36 + vat sounds very cheap. Are they the RS2 injectors (0280 150 984) or something else? If they are RS2 injectors, have you got contact details for the Bosch dealer.
Impossible to get an RS2 unit at that price mate, even the one's on ebay they go in the region of £500
Well i paid 350 for mine so it isn't impossible, the guy had been asking 500 for it for a month, so i offered 350, deal done. A used unit for 500 is a pi** take, and anyone who pays that wants their head looking at.
Off topic: It makes me laugh how people use ebay as a guide to value things, its a fact that loads and loads of people pay way over the odds for stuff from it just because its ebay and "it must be a bargain", i've put stuff on there just for a laugh in the past and they've sold for more than what they cost new ffs. LMAO
I've monitored alot of audi forums and i've never seen a working turbo go for that cheap. You got a bargain fair play, last turbo i saw go for for £300-400 need a full rebuild costing £500
