I have searched it, read it took it in but...... i am very low and i need it asap! i have ordered some top stuff from lucaus and just need a we bit from halfords whilst i wait. Please can some one tell whats a safe choice from there? got some really top extra virgin in the kitchen at work, like £55 a liter!!!! :mischeif:

You can use any decent full synthetic engine oil from 5W-40 to 15W-50 for topping up purposes really.
I take it your just going to buy a litre container until you do a full oil change?

A 10W-40 is a good 'ball-park' oil weight to go for. Or Mobil Motorsport 15W-50, they usually have that on the shelf at Halfords.

Thats the plan i was going to pick sum up but i dont like halfords all that much, the chavs seem to hang out side in there astras, fords etc,

Speak to Oilman, after speaking to him i'm running 10W50
