The last time I bought one it was about £120 (POS), mine was heat related but the misfire was constant once the engine was hot enough for it to appear making it easy to find which cylinder wasn't firing.
A few months later I had a misfire like yours, not all the time and only at WOT. I replaced the full coilpack set with one from a breaker's and it's been fine ever since.
If it was my car I'd go with the new set from Corey, it's a no brainer IMHO.
When my car starts to play up again, and it will at some point, I'll stop the ****ing about and get the 034 conversion, £200 for no more problems, you can't loose. You can get very little for £200 for our cars that fixes anything for good!
