    S6 Misfire

Just started today at high boost, gonna check for leaks tomorrow, ran vag com but it couldn't interogate the ecu (mrc'd) any other ideas before contacting Corey and binning the coil packs and going the 1.8T route. Plugs are new and i have rechecked for tightness and they are fine, the coil packs that are on the car are not the originals look the previous owner got them from a breakers as they are covered in marking paint inside.

    Any other thoughts please?

No codes stored and no boost leaks found, hmm coil pack time.

I don't use full boost until it's got decent oil and water temp (in that order) i am deliberately not touching anything else until i get the new coils as i want to be sure it is the coils packs, i am 95% sure it is as it shows all the symptoms, i can still get a decent level of boost (nearly normal) so it's not a leak, i have a friend of mine in the US that has an S6 with the excat same problem, he too is waiting for his 1.8t conversion, he did warn me that if an original coil pack shorst out then it will blow the main ecu fuse rendering the car as a non start.
