    £108+VAT and shipping

if you can find exactly the same product in this country (the UK) for cheaper I will try to match that price.

Which studs are they? The 4207 or 4704?
When you say shipping is that postage for us in the UK?

Well again I would disagree with that as a drop in compression ratio from 9:3-1 to 9:0-1 would have quite a negative effect on fuel consumption, emmisions and power. Just think about it for a minute, would Audi replace a paper head gasket with a metal head gasket knowing full well that it would drop the compression ratio down that much, especially when the head gasket in question was for a high performance engine like what you find in the S2 or even RS2

Interesting to hear GSF do a full gasket set......I love that place :mischeif:

Remember though that a drop in compresion (and I am not saying that it does drop it) allows for more boost.
I went and compared 2 gaskets I have here (both for a 10v though) one was an oe paper and the other an oe metal and their difference in thickness was just under 0.1mm so in theory it would drop the compresion ratio when fitting the metal one.

Thermostat, O Ring and the Two little screws that hold in the housing.
This is a FPITA to change so i suggest you do it while there is some free space around the engine... (Free space around the engine??... Thats unheard of on an S2 no?)

Two coolant hoses on the right side of the engine under the PS pump, while your at at it.
One from the thermostat housing and the other from the coolant manifold to turbo metal pipe.
