there are many version of K27? The prom i think you have is that your ECU is programmed for more boost in the lower revs and much less in the upper! The k27 (if you have also k27 hotside) cant give this much boost in the lower revs! Thats why it feels slow!Go Holset or Go RS4 -

Hi Marius,
I'm not an expert but I'll try to explain. You removed your K24 and simply bolted a K27 without modifying anything else, right ?
So basically, you fitted a much bigger turbo to a system designed for a much smaller one. You're only boosting by 1 bar because the turbo is too big, you're injectors are too small, your fuel pump can't send enough fuel, your compression rate is slightly too high, your intercooler is too small and your exhaust manifold isn't flowing efficiently. And most important reason of all, your ECU isn' t programmed for a K27 and it still thinks you are using a K24.
So first thing to do is to get a remap if you don't want to buy any other parts but your K27 will probably need at least 5000 rpm before starting to boost
But this isn't an ideal situation at all and it's best to do a complete power upgrade than just fitting a big turbo thinking it will give you more power just like that...

i think you have sent him back to the drawing board

hello mate.i changed frm k24 to k26 on my aan s4 and mine wud boost to 1.7 bar on a boost guage but it gets limited because of the map sensor. u sure u havnt got any air leaks?? are ur cats ok?? if they've collapsed this can cause low boost as well.Comment

Sorry but it's a standard exhaust manifold IMO, the outlets for cylinders 1 & 5 are high ala standard AAN, ABY, 3B manifold which means they run hotter than the rest.Originally posted by marius_s4is not standard i have an sms revo software for 303 hp
If it was an uprated manifold such as the rs2 the outlets would all meet at the same place ala these pics
