rs2 and s2 downpipe

are all the downpipes on s2 and rs2 the same bore size?

Any thoughts?

All S2 downpipes 2.5". RS2 downpipe is 2.75".

Or at least that's what I've been told... are you in need of one?

Can i use a rs2 downpipe in a coupe s2 3b? i think that it isn't possible but i0m not sure

thanks Ross for the reply. i was just wondering if there was any difference in the down pipe size as the s2 is 225 bhp and the rs is 315 bhp.

I'm pretty certain you could use the RS2 DP in the 3B, or at least it can be adapted to fit. No point really unless you're doing a turbo-back system and want to turn up the power

Personally, I'm going for a 3" downpipe as the rest of the system is 3", and it would be much better suited for 350bhp+ (I'm in for 380+ i hope!) For stock RS2 power I'm sure the 2.75" DP is fine, but who would do the conversion and map it to 315 now?!

Thanks Ross, do you think that a 3" downpipe of a complete exahust sytem can resist the heat of the turbo hotside? I'm looking for obtein 380hp ut i don't find an exhaust system for my car in 3", do you know anythin about it?
