    engine stalling

went up to the north sea germany today for family outing , when on the way back got stuck in a traffic jam, firstly i had eratic reving at idle then it would keep cutting out when i put the clutch in and let the revs drop, also now and then when i put my foot down it stop's boost as if overboost protection has come on but under 4k rpm then it won't boost over 0.4 bar. Just when i've had the car sorted with new wheels, big brakes and respray(colour coded grill) somthing goes wrong and im skint now. any suggestions as what it maybe??

You could have an air leak. This can cause poor idle and boost problems. Have you done a leak test? Try cleaning the ISV too, that can cause idle problems.
