Not that it would be possible to get a Bosch battery on a cold sunday morning, but does any of you have a Bosch part number for a replacement battery for the 96 S2 coupe? Or anything better, that could tolerate the HiFi with a KW power? I found that there is quite a limited space under the rear seat for the battery.

I got a nice rigg out (system) and just went for the normal battery from halfords, comes with 3 or 4 yr warranty so u wont get stuck.
I not had any problems (like headlight flashing to my base like a strobe light) but if u want summit to stop draining then u can get a device (that i dunno name of) which acts as battery storage sort to speak.
secondary to that u can buy special batteries (secondary ones) which can be put in any position (upside down or on side) and fit into your boot. made speciallty to run of ur first battery (somehow) and feeds ur system (i dunno what im talking about)
hope this helps as no one has replied.
as for part codes... maybe the parts guru can elp u out
I run a genuine diesel battery (000 915 105 AD) which is virtually the same size as a standard one with a 120A alternator (I'll look up the number when I'm at work on monday). Had no problems with battery power even when the stereo is on full bore along with the blowers, lights, heated seats, etc.
If you fit more than one battery you'll need to look into uprating the alternator. Otherwise it will never have the juice to charge the batteries properly.
If it's your subs that are eating all your battery power try a power capacitor (Ski mentions it above). They will hold a reserve of power so the subs don't drain the battery when they are working hard.
