    Lumpy start-up

When starting from cold the audi doesnt seem to want to start all of is 5 cylinders at once, then with a little prod on the throttle and a little (and I mean little) pop from the exhaust and it starts up fine. Although today it cut out on me before I could even get my foot on the throttle. Is that normal? The car never has any problem idling at traffic lights and is only very slightly lumpy when starting the car after leaving i for 10minutes of so.
