Oil Pipe work

Hi all

Since I over oiled my car I am having a problem with the performance. I think I might have a blockage somewhere where all the oil runs.

Can someone tell me all the pipe work which carrys oil and where there could be a possible blockage?

Also would a blockage of this type effect the performance of the car?

Sounds more like the breather pipes are blocked with the excess oil vapour solidifying in the pipes, do a search for the word PCV valve so you can take it off and check it.

Yep, well i found it did when i change my PCV valve and cleaned out the pipes and cleaned the firetrap.

I certainly found having a ruined PCV system was harming performance too. I have recently been through replacing all this lot as my hoses were all rotten.

Just checked the PCV value and it seemed quite clean. There was oil vapour inside but that was it nothing seemed to be blocked up.

Is there anything else I should check?
