    Head Rebuild, valves and stuff

    Two questions,

New Valves - original Audi parts or does anybody have a better suggestion?

Valve Jobs - I remember a long time ago somebody said something about only doing 5 angle valve jobs on intake valves, or was it exhaust I cant find the post, can anybody explain the ins and outs of valve jobs?

    Cheers,

    Mark.

A 3 angle valve job on the inlet side will help with flow. If you want the valves ground as well as the seats it will cost you a good few £££s

Can you advise on the suitability of 5 angle jobs? Am i right in saying both intake and exhaust are 3 angle from factory?

IIRC the valve seats are 3 angle from the factory, but the valves have a single 45° cut.
