Yep could be temp related, might go speak to sal to get a 2nd hander to see if it fixes the problem???

Looks like I'm part of this gang too, as my urS6 has similar problem
Changed all my boost hoses and the onboard digi boost gauge never flickers when it hesitates. It's a really hard sensation to describe and think it only happens @ WOT. Boost builds then it kind of hesitates for a second then picks up again, usually occurs between 3-4k.
Ordered 034's coil pack conversion and will carry on replacing bits until it goes like the rocket it should be! Gettin on me nerves though, changin fuel pump looks like an **** and can remember it being a headache on the 80

Sounds like its happening near torque peak. This happened to me when the coils or plugs were about to go.

When driving today not quickly just a gentle accel the car seemed to go in "waves" almost like long pulses of quicker accel then long slow ones, like a wave motion, strange......

I used a differant fuel than normal today BP ultra and the car ran like ***** hesitant
and realy down on power it seems to prefer 95 ron im changing my wgfv and DV
soon see if this makes a differance.The hesitation has been on and off for a few weeks
and im loosing confidance in the cars abilities it doesnt seem to have got the grunt it used to have.seems quite a common problem .
The boost gauge is showing upto 18psi but it doesnt feel like its putting it on the road.
I know the hot weather doesnt help matters.
