im going away for my military service and along my RS2 is also going away for a (hopefully)Big last service before i start dealing only with oil changes and few little stuff and nothing major.Im writting here a list of all replacements that are going to be made.I would appreciate if you would chip in any info/wisdom if im missing anything.Cheers!
Things already replaced:
Turbocharger
Samco turbo hoses
Intercooler mod
dump valve/WGFV
PAS pump
AUX radiator
beru coil pipes
A/C,PAS belts
Things scheduled to be replaced:
Exhaust Manifold(RS2 new)
turbo,wastegate,exhaust,EM flanges
Intercooler(im having this one checked for leaks)
valve stem seals
Compression measurement
engine flange
temp sensor for AUX water pump 90oC
Multi purpose sensor
AUX water pump
Cambelt change along with thermostat(82oC),water pump,crank shaft bolt and pulley
clutch,disc,pulley
Lamda sensor
pressure regulating valve with flame deflector
Samco coolant hoses
oil pump cleaning and flange replacement
ventilator sensor 86oC
diff oil
oil filter
gas pump,filter
rear disks 299x32 and textar pads
cruise control installation
some small painting job will be done along with a rear spoiler with brake light as well installed.
My questions is,should i also replace my ignition coils?i have done 145K kms
finally i noticed that my dump valve i used before had this part number: 034 145 710 A while ETKA gives 034 145 710 B for the RS2.Only difference i could notice briefly was that the RS2 one is silent,while the (A) one sounds very very very much like the sport quattro dump valve.Could this just be that my old dump valve has had its time and it sounds like that?Im planning on getting the (A) again to use it as new just to see if the sound remains.
