You'll find the MFTS on the underside of the water rail, which is located under the inlet manifold. Good look getting to the little ******!91 Modded 3B

I'll second that...the first ever job i did on the s2 myself.....couldn't find a single tool in the box which would grip the bloody thing without fouling the fan shroud, or the FPR
It screws in on the underside and has a black rubber boot over it...sigpic

Can anyone recommend the cheapest place to buy a replacement MFTS from? I presume if they're main dealer only it will be a phone call to VAG-parts.Comment

How much is the afterrun temp sensor? as im going to have to replace the mfts so thought i might as well change the afterrun one as well.
