Poor running...um not happy!

Im a busy bloke, dont need this! can anyone give me ideas??

First problem- when the car is cold (eg left for a couple of hours) she starts fine but for the first minute or so of the journey there is a definate hesitation with a definate rithum, evey 2 seconds or so she goes flat and then the power comes back, this is very strong at first but as the minute or so ticks away it gets less and less then clears totally for the rest of the journey??

Second she feels very slightly down on power eg poor throttle resonse, lacking in acceloration (she will still go off the clock, but when flat out there is a hick-up now and then!)

Thirdly and this is a strange one, she made a very load noise (like a missfire on all cylinders- like rally spec traction control), the first time this happened i was accelorating hard in first gear but cleared as i changed gear and went through the box, it has happened in forth gear twice now as well??! this is very intermitant.

They could all be linked or all seperate faults, anyone had the same things happen and what did you do to cure it??????

She is a 3B in RS2 spec.....

Sounds like lamda probe is goosed....common signs are like driving a car with the choke on...sound similiar?

um..

Not sure about that, did check Lamda output a while back seems to switch ok (although car was warm when I did the test!?) may try one anyway, just dont need to give up my valueable time chasing around replacng expensive parts... Thanks for the reply and i'll let you know if that has any effect!

Vacume leak?? The cars fine after it's warm?? If so when the hoses are cold there expanded & when there warm they contract hiding any possible holes.
