    Tuning company recommendations

    Hi folks,

I need help. I have upgraded the brakes, fitted the RS2 FARB and whiteline RARB and I have now collected most of the RS2 hardware I need. I have the EM, IC, Turbo, Airbox and injectors, so I think that I just need a 7A cam and a Bosch fuel pump and then it is tuning time

Before you all shout 'MRC' at me, I have tried contacting MRC by phone, email and even PM'ed Doug on here, for both myself and on behalf of a European forum member, but have yet to receive a single response.

So, who else do we collectively know of who can tune our cars well, preferably with a RR? I obviously want to use someone with Audi 5-pot experience but am not looking for absolute power (I am not aiming for any magical BHP figure) and manic boost levels giving massive BHP only at 8000rpm for track use. Since it is a daily driver, I want the power to come in as low down as possible (I know I don't have the best turbo for this) and would give up absolute top end power to achieve this.

Any experiences with tuners gratefully received. All suggestions of MRC politely ignored....yes I know you all love them, but they obviously don't love me

    Cheers n

    Si

I've spoken to Doug today so he is about, i would keep trying.

If not try Chipswizard or you can get the hardware installed via Corey and he will arrange mapping of the car afterwards.

He offered me this service when i had the bits to go on the Coupe so i'm sure it's open to other forum members.

nice, they were having problems with the chassis as it was coming apart with all the torque IIRC.

I agree with Aelred, top man he is like a dog with a bone... he wont let it go until it is perfect, i once spent two nights with him until midnight....

I spoke to him today and told him to expect calls 01642 714200. Not the easiest bloke to get hold of but well worth persevering

I can also confirm MRC story as they did not answer any of my hails as well. I guess if they have so much work they can pick their clients.

Anyways since I am europe based I found a tuning comapny in germany that I hope can get my projects going. http://www.mb-cartuning.de/
