    juddering and jerking

    Hi,
I have an audi 80 2.0 sport. It constantly jerks and judders, when accelerating it judders before it gets going and continuies to do this even driving along steaduly it will start jerking, this can go for weeks, then all of a sudden it will stop and be fine for a while maybe weeks then starts again. Diagnostics run been run and everything showed up ok, several garages have had a look and cannot find anything.. the only thing that has been mentioned are the fuel injectors?? has anyone had this problem or can shed any light on it?? please help.. great car apart from this little problem..
    any help appreciated thanks

get your injectors cleaned or just replace them..worth changing ht leads and plugs as a matter of course, could also be the fuel pump on its way out, sounds more like a bad injector though....

      thanks,
did have it serviced and leads and plugs were changed, will get the injectors changed and take it from there, running out of ideas so maybe this will solve.

Is you timing set correctly?? Chack that for definite against the timing marks on the casings..

Maybe worthwhile also to clean your MAF....

        Search the forum for "mafbaf"

Its dead simple to do...just use some IPA (iso propyl alchohol// I think)

i don't think the injectors are your problem .i had audi 80 quattro that had simmilar problem especially when it was cold i changed almost every thing didn't solve it .is it ke motronic injection system ? .
somebody said it might be the ecu before i had a chance to change it my car got hit by a bus and was written off he did me a big favour.
