    Has my car been chipped?

After sortibng out the butchered job on my turbo plumbing, I am still not convinced it is quite right. Although the boost is higher (14 psi), the car doesnt seem to feel as pokey as it did before I plumbed the WGFV back in.

Whilst I was poking around some previous threads I noticed that others have seen this type of bleed system used when the car has been chipped. Whats the quickest way to find out if this is the case for me. I have VAG-COM - Will this tell me, or is it a case of wresting with the ecu to get it out, and popping the cover?

Send me a PM with your cars VIN - I can tell if its one if done before - but the bleed valve job will be someone elses work.

Only way to tell on VAG-COM is if someone did something really obvious in the chip/car identity info that can be read. Mine's a bit subtle - let me know what you see in VAG-COM.

Yes that ECU number you sent me is for the AAN engined UrS4

The ECU info on VAG-COM you sent indicates I have never been near it !

I'll PM you about a homefry later, but my spare is out on duty again so it will be a week or two before its back with me for you to try.
