    camshaft cog for distributor broken

I think I sheard off the cog that drives the distributor on the intake cam. It's a 7A intake cam. Anyone had something like this before?

I'm opening the camvover next weekend to check it out.

Wouldn't be the first, they are only plastic.

New distributors have a metal gear now. If you are lucky you may still find the remanufactured metal gear.
