Can hydraulic lead to white smoke through exhaust?

Thursday I was driving home and after warming up I gave it some full throttle, after I have reached 235 km/h I rolled the car to about 160 km/h for about 3 km and then I went of the highway and drove the last 3 km home at normal speeds.

But when I wanted to do one of the last turns at the steeringwheel normal grinding noise became "saw" like grinding noise. I drove the last couple of metres home and every touch at the steeringwheel resulted in this noise. Once it was on its final position I let the car idle (like I normally do) but this time there was a bit of white smoke coming out of the exhaust and it seems to be getting worse so I switched the engine off.

Later we found a leak and after closer examination the leak is from the hydraulic fluid.
Thankfully it is only a hose came loose! So I asked my dad if he could bring some green 2000 fluid, which is apparently replaced by green 4000 fluid and we reconnect the hose and will fill it up, sorted!

However I do have the feeling that this leak has nothing to do with the smoke problem, because I don't see the connection with the exhaust system or the engine.

Does anyone have an idea of what could have happened?
    - Before I switch the engine off it did run fine
    - There is no oil in the water tank
    - Waterlevel is fine
    - Oil level is good and nothing strange at the dipstick
    - Nothing strange to see through oilfiller cap

Oh yeah and last sunday we mounted the CAT replacement pipe in between my custom exhaust, as I found on other topics they can cause smoke problems...

The smoke seems white, but it was dark so maybe it was a little bit light grey or even light blue, but I doubt it! Also I don't think it was condens as it seemed dry to me...

I thought I will first ask here before starting up the engine again...

It may be as simple as the hydraulic fluid blowing under the car and burning on the exhaust. Has it used any oil or water aswell?

Oil and water level is steady since the day I have got it (5 October)...
The smoke came definitly out of the pipes...

the smoke may be because of the bearings on the turbo and the change in back pressure letting a small amount of oil pass the bearings. just re read you first bit

I always tought that this white smoke from oil passing the turbo bearing would occur on-boost. And ofcourse when idling it is off-boost.

Today me and my mate solved the leak and filled up again. And we started it had no white smoke at first and a little bit afterwards. My mate told me not to worry too much as he said it is not that much. My dad thinks it could also be one of those valve seals... I will drive it, but I will keep an eye on things...
