    Options replacing leads on 3B

As a part of my upgrade to RS2 tech, I want to change the leads as well.

I heard that Magnecor is good and when I checked their site I found out there is an option for 7mm, 8mm and KV85 sets. Can someone explain me what is the difference and which is optimum for my setup?

7mm are the standard replacement for O.E., coloured black. These are actually the ones I use just to retain an O.E. look.

But for your set up I'd go for the blue 8mm (or the red 8.5mm KV85 if they fit ok due to the larger diameter).

        From www.sparkplugs.co.uk

        7mm 5008 £91.53

        8mm 5708 £93.50

        8.5mm 5508 £113.96

I personally run the 8mm, noticed a definite improvement in fuel economy, but then my previous leads were pretty knackered.

Thanks all. Does "the larger the better" philosophy works here? If money is not in question should I auto-get 8.5mm ?

Not sure the 8.5mm's would really be needed unless you had some big ignition upgrades too.
You may also possibly struggle fitting them under the plastic lead cover on the cam cover too. Unless someone has fitted them and can confirm?.....
