    Removing valves/valve springs?

How do you guys remove your valve springs, what tools do you use?

I'm moving all my valves/springs into a replacement head, but don't seem to have any tools for the spring removal job.

Also having trouble removing the valve guide seals on the other head, is it really just a matter of pulling them of with pliers?

Also replacing a few valve guides, should these come out at the top or at the bottom of the head?

Man.. That's a lot of questions, really seems like I don't have a clue doesn't it?

you'll need a valve spring compressor.you'd be best getting new stem seals anyway as you'll probably wreck the old ones.guides will have to come out towards the cam if they have a ring around them like the 10v head, and you'll need a vernier calliper with depth gauge to take a reading from the top of the guide before you press it out.
